Mission

To ensure the successful maintenance of various farm vehicles and equipment to ensure their optimal, ongoing use.  This role supplies fuel, hydraulic fluid, gas, oil and other necessary services to equipment running at various locations across the farms and locales. The driver’s responsibility is to also collect daily inspection forms and turn them in to the Maintenance Planner. This role requires either a Farm Endorsement or CDL Class A.

Outcomes
  • Maintain functionality of farm equipment and implement maintenance to ensure farming and all field activities are able to be successfully executed by the farm team
  • Safely and effectively handle and transport fuel, gas, oil and other potentially hazardous liquids
  • Sustain both seated activities while driving and mobile activities while completing maintenance tasks
  • Keep a log of fuel used and services provided to vehicles and equipment
  • Prioritize and answer service calls, as timely communication and maintenance is essential
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to internal customers
  • Record daily issues or concerns with equipment and implements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • This position has been identified as holding responsibility for food safety and quality of the company. This responsibility extends over all shifts.
  • During absence, the following position serves as coverage to this position: Farm Mechanic

Minimum Qualifications
  • Farm Endorsement or CDL Class A
  • Operation of a semi-truck including minor maintenance
  • Ability to work independently
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred

Schedule
  • Monday – Saturday, 6 am – 3 pm
